To keep pace with rapid changes in the tech sector, Rutgers is investing in markedly expanded career support while it restructures its bootcamp offerings in 2025. As current bootcamp classes conclude, Rutgers has announced it will:
- Provide substantially expanded post-graduation career support and guidance to current students. This will provide structured learning opportunities after graduation at no additional cost to current students. The additional career support includes post-graduation skill assessment, one-on-one career guidance, accountability check-ins, personalized plans for continued skill development, and mentoring from bootcamp alumni.
- Restructure bootcamp program content for future attendees into a series of shorter, focused programs that will continue to evolve with the changing needs of employers.
These expanded services will be provided directly by Rutgers in addition to the support students receive from our academic partner, 2U, which announced on Dec. 4, 2024 that it will sunset its services after September 2025. To adapt to the changing needs of the tech marketplace, Rutgers has been planning for this transition by expanding post-graduation support with the services Rutgers is introducing in early 2025. It also will stop accepting incoming bootcamp students for classes starting after Dec. 1, 2024.
Rutgers is proud to have been an innovator in tech skill development, and we are committed to supporting your student success through and after graduation.
